ΟPENING: 24 SEPTEMBER 2017, 19:00 Geroskipou Sculpture Park (Opposite the Old Ken of Pafos)
Geroskipou, with a wealth of antiquities, folk traditions, and natural beauty, in 2017 acquires a sculpture park inspired by local legends. With particular reference to the history, the legends and local traditions, ten Cypriot and foreign sculptors will create on-site works drawing on the history of the area and, in this way, leaving behind them the traces of the European Capital of Culture.
The project aims to create the necessary conditions for the development and growth of the sculpture park that will claim a prestigious position on the international map for related events in the future. The creators, who have been selected through an open call, and are currently working in Geroskipou.
