Charalambos Prountzos, Partner, Central, Eastern, Southeastern Europe and Central Asia (CESA) Law Leader, Head of Law & Fund Services, EY Cyprus spoke at the Invest Cyprus Roadshow UK about the framework of establishing a regional office/base in Cyprus. He pointed out that Cyprus has a reliable legal regime, a highly skilled and cost-efficient workforce, it’s aligned with international AML and CF practice, it offers a tax friendly framework and it has a fully integrated AIFMD regime into local legislation allowing financial services firms to operate a regional office in Cyprus.
