Tourists from Israel appear to be the biggest spenders according to a recent Passenger Survey carried out by the Statistical Service.
According to the Survey, while tourists from the United Kingdom (the largest tourist market with 27.2% of the total tourists in February 2023) spent on average €62.35 per day, tourists from Israel (the second largest market during the specific month with 12.8% of the total tourists) spent on average €103.51.
Tourists from Greece (the third largest market with 12.6%), meanwhile, spent on average €47.34 per day.
