Larnaca eyes more development projects

Larnaca Municipality is pressing ahead with development plans for the town that include a centre on underwater archaeology and the relocation of some municipal offices to the old hospital, its mayor Andreas Vyras told the Cyprus News Agency.

Other plans include the renovation of Alkis and Acropolis Square, the reconstruction of Melathron Evgirias centre, the relocation of the Home for the Elderly and the unification of the Archaeological site of Ancient Kitium, the Mosaic “Labour of Hercules” and the Archaeological Museum of Larnaca.
